The Commanda Museum is dedicated to preserving the rich history of the Victorian era in rural, northern Ontario. Our exhibits showcase the cultural, social, and economic aspects of the 19th century, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a bygone era of Canadian history in the smokey hills of Commanda.

About

Rare examples of Victorian-aged building that are still standing in Ontario, the Commanda Museum is housed in a former general store (built in 1885) and the Trinity Lutheran Church (built in 1883) provide visitors a glimpse into that period of the 19th century.
